A petrol powered water pump is used to pump syrup through the 19 mm (3/4 inch) hose to the feeders. This works well when syrup is warm and not too heavy. I use a mixture of 2 parts water and 3 parts sugar to make up the syrup. With colder or thicker mixture this pump will not work properly, you will need a gear pump and 25 mm hose instead.
